Saudi Arabia records new 359 COVID-19 cases on Saturday

Saudi Arabia recorded new 359 COVID-19 cases today, Oct. 17, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 341,854, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 370, raising the total number of recovered cases to 328,165 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported new 21 deaths, with the death toll standing at 5,165.

 

Active cases totaled 8,524, of which 829 cases are critical.

 

Madinah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 55, followed by Riyadh (25), Makkah (23) and Yanbu (19).
