MODON concludes 10,300 contracts in 2020

The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) stated that the total number of contracts concluded in 2020 reached 10,300, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported. 

 

The authority added that it signed 6,587 investment and industrial contracts, as well as 3,724 contracts with factories, which contributes to boosting the national economy and encouraging the manufacturing of national products. This also helps focus on manufacturing and creating job opportunities for the different new specialties.

 

The contracts also contribute to developing the supply chains, fulfilling the needs of some rare or few products and services, as well as creating positive competitiveness in the market. In addition, they enhance price competitiveness for the imported products and services.
