Northern Cement gets patent on grey-to-white cement conversion

Northern Region Cement Co. obtained, on June 14, a patent certificate No. SA10181 from the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP), the company said in a statement to Tadawul.  

 

The certificate, which was received by the company today, June 26, was about the firm’s conversion of grey ordinary portland cement production line into white portland cement production line by using quenching in cooler area.

 

The patent is valid for 20 years from the filing request.

 

The cement producer underlines its exclusive intellectual rights pertaining to that invention. It added this invention is protected by the SAIP laws, warning against the use or benefit or alteration by any person for whatever reason, the statement concluded.
