Saudi Arabia’s dates exports hit SAR 1.69B in 2024

The value of Saudi dates exports reached about SAR 1.69 billion in 2024, up 15.9% year-on-year, with production exceeding 1.9 million tons, the National Center for Date Palm and Dates (NCPD) said, according to data from the General Authority for Statistics (GSTAT).
 
Saudi dates have achieved a remarkable spread in international markets, with their exports reaching 133 countries around the world, with an increase in value by 15.9% compared to 2023, SPA reported, citing a statement from NCPD.
 
Since 2016, the value of the Kingdom's dates exports has increased by 192.5% until 2024.
