SAVOLA and Takween submit an application to Competition Council regarding the Plastic & Packaging Deal

Takween Advanced Industries and Savola Group submitted an application to the Council of Competition Protection (Competition Council) regarding the sale of Savola Packaging Systems Company, wholly owned by Savola Group, to Takween.
 

The Competition Council invited all interested parties to give their opinion on the proposed transaction. The Competition Council's announcement is expected to be published on Wednesday 12 November 2014 in two local newspapers.
 

According to Argaam; Takween and Savola extended the memo of understanding regarding the acquisition of Savola Packaging Systems Company, by Takween till December 31st 2014.
