Saudi Arabian Mining Co. (Maaden) said that operations at its ammonia unit were resumed on Wednesday after it repaired a technical glitch at its cooling facility.
On March 23, Maaden shut down its ammonia plant due to unscheduled maintenance in the facility.
The plant produces ammonia for the production of diammonium phosphate (DAP), Maaden said in a statement.
It said the repairs would have no financial impact on the company’s ability to meet obligations to customers.
Maaden Phosphate is a joint venture with Saudi Basic Industries Corp., in which Maaden owns 70 percent and SABIC 30 percen
