Dubai’s Careem launches food delivery services in Saudi Arabia, UAE

Car hailing app, Careem has launched food delivery services in Jeddah and Dubai, Reuters reported, citing Mudassir Sheikha, CEO and co-founder.

 

"Once you see us prove the model in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, you will see us very quickly go to new markets," Sheikha said.

 

Careem plans to spend over $150 million in developing the food delivery business in the coming months, he added.
