Saudi Arabia deposits $5 bln in Egypt’s central bank

Saudi Arabia deposited $5 billion in the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), as per the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The move shows the long-standing, well-established ties, strong cooperation and deep-rooted relations between the two friendly countries.

This is reflected in the distinguished ties between the two countries in all fields and at all levels. The move is also part of the Kingdom’s unremitting efforts and permanent leading role in supporting Egypt.
