TASI falls 5.4% between Eid al-Fitr holidays 2024/25

Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) dropped 5.4%, or 680 points between Eid al-Fitr holidays of 2024/25.


The index closed the last session before Eid al-Fitr holiday (March 27, 2025) at 12,025 points, compared with 12,705 points in the same period a year earlier.

Losers outnumbered gainers by 156 to 60 in the same period.

 

Mouwasat was the biggest loser, diving 44%. It was followed by Sipchem, Arabian Drilling, Saudi Kayan, and Tasnee, with percentages ranging between 37% and 42%.

Top Gainers

 

Al Baha was the top gainer, leaping 92%. It was followed by Saudi Re with a 91% rise. Retal and Saudi Cables also advanced 80% and 70%, respectively, while Dar Al-Arkan was up 54%, as below:

Performance of Blue Chips

 

As for blue chips, Saudi Aramco fell 12%. SNB lost 13%, and Acwa Power (5%).

 

On the other hand, SRMG was the biggest loser, shedding 33%, followed by SABIC, which dropped 28%.

 

Meanwhile, Al Rajhi Bank was the best performer, leaping 21%, followed by stc (16%).
