Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan said that Arab countries need to measure the impact of increasing financial, economic, and trade pressures.
He emphasized the need to build frameworks for responding to and managing these global challenges, according to a post on social messaging platform X.
Saudi Arabia is backing the Arab Financial Institutions to achieve the common interest of Arab countries, the minister said.
Resilient strategic approaches should be adopted to reflect the requirements of member states amid the current global economic conditions, he added.
The minister also highlighted the role of Arab Financial Institutions in providing technical support and developing studies and research to assist Arab countries in overcoming these challenges.
Al-Jadaan’s remarks were made during his participation in the annual meetings of the Arab Financial Institutions and the 16th meeting of the Council of Arab Finance Ministers.
