Nazaha holds investigations with 639 detainees in criminal, administrative cases last month

The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) launched investigations last month (Safar) with 639 individuals accused in administrative and criminal cases.

 

Nazaha arrested 271 citizens and residents, including employees at the Ministries of Defense; Interior; Justice; Health; Municipal; Rural Affairs & Housing; Education; Human Resources and Social Development; Environment, Water and Agriculture; The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA); and Saudi Customs on their involvement in bribery, power abuse and forgery.

 

Nazaha said in a statement that the required regulatory measures are being completed against the detainees, in preparation for their referral to court.

 

Nazaha conducted 10.329 oversight visits, the statement added.
